Jodie and family returned home late afternoon on the 5th. The sun had just come out before they arrived. Larry went for a bike ride on the trail in Snohomish, Festina & I went for a walk earlier in the day.
Jake & Jenna had picked out fireworks before they left. We had a nice display in the backyard at dusk...it doesn't get dark until almost 10.
The next day Jodie & the kids took us to the Ballard locks for a picnic and to see the salmon swim up the ladders. 
The sun was out and we enjoyed the warmth.
We finished the trip at an unusual store, Archie McPhee's. They have interesting & odd things. We bought dill pickle flavored toothpicks. They have a variety of uses for tighty whities that can be purchased, bacon figurines and so on. On this visit we wanted to do things we had not been able to do on our mission. This was just a start.
