Jake's Quilt
When we were Washington last summer we visited friends on Vashon Island. The best quilt shop I have ever been to is there....Island Quilters, duh. The eye candy in this store can compete with See's anyday. I knew I would have to satisfy my craving. Jodie said Jake would like a quilt. We decided lizards as a theme, but camo colors......these were my choices.
I searched the net for lizard ideas and found these little guys.
The iguana.
Incidentally, the next day I bought several more colorful pieces for another project, to be determined at a later date.
December Activites
We have been doing a variety of things to enjoy the Christmas festivities.
We took Brody, Stephanie and Axel to see the Prairie Lights. It's a drive-thru light display.
Our ward had a Texas Christmas. There was plenty of smoked brisket and fixin's.
Hunter brought her friend Dominque and both had a chat with Santa.
Diego and Oscar let Santa know what they would like from him.
Larry has been wanting to make homemade sausage for some time.
