Saturday I took Hunter to Joann's to buy fabric & a pattern for her formal sewing lesson. She has sewn some things in the past, but not clothes. She picked a cute red dress that she plans on wearing to the New Years Eve Dance. We have been working on it since then.
Saturday evening we went with Kelly & family to see the Rockettes. It was a fun time, very Christmasy.
Sunday we had Hunter, Damon Oscar & Diego until Monday. The boys shot the new bb guns, Larry & Diego had a wii bowling tournament, and played other games. Larry & I wonder if we will ever figure the wii out. Monday was some Christmas shopping with the kids, Larry stayed home with a sleeping Axel.
We have Axel everyday this week. Brody & Stephanie are both in retail management and it's a crazy week for them. I'm just glad I have the time to do it.
Today was taking Sally's kids (she also works retail...one of the Target overnight stocking supervisors/foreman) to see the infamous Alvin & the Chipmunks. At least by the crowd and line you would think infamous. Hunter warned me everyone from school was planning on going, so I bought the tickets yesterday, but STILL it's Alvin & the Chipmunks. The kids did have fun & seemed to enjoy it, Larry too. I fell asleep during part of it. Now Hunter & I'm sewing...she says it's wearing her out.
