Game Night

New years eve we played games at Kelly's. Sally suggested we do this monthly, so hopefully a tradition has started. Last Saturday we all met at Sally's for heated games of Uno. It had been sometime since any of us had played & some of the card images had changed so we were pretty equal in ability. Oscar kept forgetting to call uno and we gave him 2 chances before we attacked with picking 2 cards. He was a good sport. Next month we go to Brody & Stephanies and it's their choice of game and menu. At Sallys we brought snacks and byob. We want to keep it cheap and simple. AND FUN!

Good bye to 2009

We purchased a Wii a few weeks ago, Larry & I have heek of a time trying to figure out how to play. But the kids don't have any problems, and it was priceless watching them do do Mario free for all four at a time.

New Year's Eve Larry had a bicycle accident, a car hit him. Luckily only a badly bruised ankle & foot.

Good Bye Jodie, Jenna & Jake we sure had alot of fun.

The end of 2009 brought our family together several times. My mom's visit in Nov for 3 weeks and Thanksgiving, Kelly's father-in-law Larry came for Christmas, and then Jodie, Jenna & Jake came for New Years. We had many adventures, The Grinch at ICE, Cowboys Stadium, Mrs Baird's bakery, Christmas lights in Grand Prairie with Mom. We saw the Rocketts with Kelly & her family. We went to Midevil Times with Jodie & kelly's families. A lunch & shopping at American Girl. Then to finish the holidays a family picture of all our grandchildren, We almost had the full group, but George was not able to take the time off to come. In a couple of weeks we head for California to visit my father, Kandy & Terry and several of our CA friends. Then off to the Grand Canyon and a ride to Phantom Ranch via mule for our 40th anniversary.
