One if our main goals of our vacation was to get together with friends. With the exception of the Jordan's, we met and became friends at and during our mission.
We met Roy Chapman at Cascade Park, he volunteered regularly while we were there.
We then met Carrol, his wife. We have enjoyed Independence Day together the last 3 years, 
Barry & Rene Jordan have been friends for years, back to Mira Loma. Barry was our Bishop for years, Rene was my visiting teaching partner and co-worker in DPSS. Our children were friends growing up.
Dave & Linda Grant, we became missionary companions at Morningside Farm. We quickly became friends and worked so well together.
Jim & Diana Copitzky, Jim was the Branch President at Vashon and Diana was a volunteer and became a service missionary at the park. We worked so well together and had so much fun doing it. We were able to spend the weekend with them and their daughter Sara.
Ron & Sherrie Colby. The Colby came to Morningside Farm the last 2 months of our mission. We had been at the park for 6 months by ourselves and were very happy, but the remaining 2 months had lots of laughs. Larry & I hope we will be able to work as hard as they do in another 15 years. They live in Utah and were our last stop on the vacation.
