Pacific Northwest Trip

We went to the greater Seattle area for 2 weeks in Oct & Nov to visit Jodie's family and friends we met during our mission there.  We had a great time!
We learned about the BUS during the mission, and eat there every time we visit.  Authenic Mexican food.  Jodie got to come this time.
We took a tour of the Theo Chocolate Factory in Seattle.  Interesting & expensive chocolate, but it's fair trade & organic if that's something you care about.  The first part of our mission was located in Granite Falls, WA, this was the first time we saw the falls.  Thank you Roy for taking us there.
 Kangaroo Ranch...fun!
The Freemont Troll, found by accident, but a landmark.
We went to the coast with friends Dave & Linda, to watch the sunset.
We toured the Naval Undersea Museum, I didn't know that this part of a submarine was called the sail.
 Leisure time, texting & kindle.
We saw 3 lighthouses during the visit.  This one is Mukateo. On our way to Fort Casey on Whidby Island.
And a local bird sanctuary, with several owls and bald eagles, this too was about 1/2 mile from the first park we served at.

  1. Looks fun, wish you would have been there when we are. We go next week. What town is the bus in?
